Responsabilità

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for monitoring the progress of product quality controls, analyzing inspection and testing data to identify trends and perform statistical analyses, and communicating results to the production departments. The role also includes managing and sharing quality data through customer portals.

In addition, the Quality Engineer will oversee process control activities, ensuring that standards are in place and properly applied, analyze internal non-conformities, and support sampling activities as well as the preparation, maintenance, and updating of product Technical Specifications. Participation in audits and close collaboration with the Product Development and Quality Laboratory teams are essential aspects of the position.

The Quality Engineer will also be responsible for managing and sharing analyses related to internal non-conformities in cooperation with the Quality Analyst and the Quality Manager. The role involves issuing non-conformity reports within the area of responsibility and delivering training related to quality processes and standards.

Furthermore, the position requires supporting sampling activities, managing the preparation and internal distribution of sampling reports, and coordinating the archiving and management of reference samples. The Quality Engineer will also handle customer requests for finished product samples and provide support in responding to regulatory-related inquiries from customers.

 

 

a) Monitor the progress of product quality controls to be performed in relation to ongoing production activities and the applicable sampling plan, supporting their execution when necessary.

b) Verify the correct recording of production and laboratory inspection data, determining any additional checks required to ensure product compliance.

c) Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and perform statistical analyses on products and their characteristics.

d) Ensure the timely communication of test and inspection results to the production departments.

e) Manage the sharing of analysis data through dedicated customer portals.

f) Review and analyze production and Quality Laboratory test data prior to the issuance of the Certificate of Analysis (CoA).

g) Issue and send Certificates of Analysis (CoA) to customers and ensure their proper filing and archiving.

h) Review and analyze internal non-conformities raised during production and placed on hold, in collaboration with the Quality Analyst and the Quality Manager, when required.

i) Issue non-conformity reports within the area of responsibility, including finished product laboratory controls, incoming inspections of externally processed materials and raw materials, and process-related controls.

j) Support sampling activities related to new products, new raw materials, and other projects, collaborating with the Product Development Department when necessary.

k) Manage the preparation and internal distribution of sampling reports.

l) Coordinate and support the archiving and management of reference samples.

m) Fulfill requests for finished product samples to be sent to customers, when required.

n) Handle customer and internal requests related to regulatory matters.

o) Support the drafting, updating, and internal distribution of Product Technical Specifications.

p) Contribute to the daily communication and reporting of waste and internally recorded non-conformities, including the management of related files and records.

q) Assist in organizing Quality Laboratory activities and cooperate to ensure adequate laboratory coverage.

r) Collaborate with other Quality Department team members to ensure laboratory equipment remains properly maintained, functional, and calibrated.

s) Support the Quality Manager in the development and updating of procedures, work instructions, and forms directly related to Quality Control activities.

t) Deliver and support training activities within the area of responsibility, ensuring effective employee qualification and competence development.

u) Support the creation of new item codes and related setup activities within the NAVISION ERP system.

v) Assist in the analysis and investigation of customer complaints.

w) Participate in first-, second-, and third-party audits, when required.

 

 

 

 

Qualifiche

Education

  • University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree).

Language Skills

  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Computer Skills

  • Good computer literacy, including proficiency in standard business and quality management applications.

Specific Knowledge

  • Knowledge of ISO standards.
  • Knowledge of product analysis and measurement methodologies.
  • Understanding of statistical techniques and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies and problem-solving tools.
